The 3DS Crank Deep Diver is a short, high-buoyancy crankbait built to reach water most casting lures never touch. The 65 mm body places accurately into tight freshwater spots, while the long rounded coffin lip pulls it down to around 3.5 m and lets it deflect off rock, timber and gravel instead of jamming into it. Because it floats, it backs up and rises the moment you stop winding — the fastest way to free a lure that has found cover, and the moment most strikes happen. The body carries Yo-Zuri's patented 3D internal prism finish, which reflects light from inside the lure rather than off the surface, and a ribbed Wave Motion belly that pushes water and adds vibration in stained conditions.

How To Fish It

Crank and deflect — Cast past the target, wind fast for the first few turns to drive the lure down, then settle into a steady medium retrieve so the lip ticks bottom or structure. Most bites come straight after a deflection.
Stop and go — Wind down to depth, stop for one to two seconds and let it rise, then crank again. Use it over weed edges and around submerged timber.
Slow trolling — Let out 20–30 m of line and troll at walking pace along drop-offs and channel edges to find the depth band holding fish before you start casting.
Down the bank — Cast parallel to a rock wall or laydown so the lure stays in the strike zone for the whole retrieve instead of crossing it once.

Southeast Asia — Hampala barb (sebarau) and peacock bass on reservoir points and rocky edges, giant snakehead (toman) along submerged timber, barramundi (siakap) holding deep around dam structures.

Japan & East Asia — Black bass on deep reservoir structure and drowned timber, plus catfish (namazu) in the warmer months.
