XBRAID YGK - UPGRADE X8 GP TUNED 200M PREMIUM PE BRAIDED LINE MADE IN JAPAN is a 200m high-standard eight-strand PE line using YGK’s high-density pitch, WX8 braiding, GP and HST processing. The platform balances two competing PE-line goals: abrasion resistance from dense construction and linear strength from a straighter braid profile.

What It Solves

A braid optimized only for density may sacrifice straight strength, while a coarse low-density braid may lose abrasion performance. UPGRADE X8 is designed to balance those opposing traits for broad casting and lure use.

The store carries five 200m options from PE1.2 / 25lb through PE3 / 50lb. Smaller and larger sizes from other official packages are not advertised here.

Recommended Pairing

Use PE1.2–1.5 for lighter inshore casting, PE2–2.5 for stronger lure or shore work, and PE3 where cover, lure load and drag require additional strength.

Pair with an abrasion leader around hard structure. Keep one-metre marks visible when monitoring distance and avoid overfilling the reel so the 200m line leaves the spool cleanly.

Spool PE braid under firm, even tension. Use a braid-compatible leader knot, tighten it progressively and test the complete connection before fishing. Select line class around reel capacity, lure load, working drag, leader and cover.
