That irregular shape is the point: instead of the even, predictable wobble every other spoon produces, the body swims unstably and changes direction at random, so the lure reads as a weakened or injured baitfish rather than a healthy one moving in a straight line. On a steady retrieve the curved metal wobbles from side to side and throws light in scattered directions; the moment the retrieve is paused, the spoon falls with a wide, uneven flutter that regularly triggers fish that have followed without committing. How To Fish It

• Retrieve and pause — Wind three to five turns, then stop dead and let the spoon flutter down on a semi-slack line. The fall is where this lure earns its keep; watch the line and strike at any tick, jump or unexpected slack.
• Vertical lift and drop — From a boat or a high jetty, drop to the bottom, lift the rod 50–80 cm, and let the spoon flutter back on a controlled line.
• Cast up-current — In river or tidal flow, cast up and across and let the current swing the spoon broadside.
• For pressured fish — Where fish refuse a standard spoon or minnow, slow everything down and use longer pauses. The irregular flutter is a different signal from anything else in the box.
