LURESFACTORY - QUIET STORM 10cm 26g SPINNERBAIT TOPWATER
Lures Factory TR Quiet Storm 10cm 26g Spinning bait
The Quiet Storm is the subtle member of the Lures Factory bladed range, and the name describes what it does. Instead of the metal-on-metal clacking of the Spinner bait, it runs on two reflective gold-toned blades that spin against the water to throw flash and vibration with a far softer sound signature. That makes it the one for hard-fished reservoirs, clear water, or later in the morning once the loud lures have stopped drawing strikes — fish still get a strong visual and lateral-line signal without the alarm heavy clatter can cause. At 10cm and 26g on a strong wire frame it casts far and tracks steadily, with a painted fish-head body as a target and a silicone skirt breathing behind it.
Key Features
- Twin rotating metal blades — flash and vibration with a quieter signature than a clacker-equipped spinner bait
- Reflective gold-toned blade finish for clear, stained and low-visibility water
- Painted fish-head body and silicone skirt for volume and movement
- 26g body for long casts and a stable retrieve
- Seven color patterns, from natural perch to high-visibility fire tiger
How To Fish It
- Burn it up top — Wind hard the moment it lands, rod tip high, so the blades work right at the surface and leave a bulging wake. This is the dawn, dusk and overcast presentation.
- Drop the tip and slow-roll — Once tracking, lower the rod and back off to the slowest speed that keeps both blades turning. It settles just under the film — often what pressured fish take when they refuse a noisy surface bait.
- Cast parallel to cover — Run it lengthways along weed lines, pad margins and drowned timber so it stays in the productive strip.
- Deflect off structure — Let the blades tick a stump or reed. That brief stall and change of rhythm is the strongest trigger this style of lure offers.
- Stop-and-go — Pause every few turns; the skirt collapses, then flares as the blades restart. Follows often convert on the restart.
- Wait a beat on the strike — On a surface blow-up, keep winding and let the fish load the rod before sweeping sideways. Striking at the splash pulls the lure clear.
Target Species By Region
- Southeast Asia — Giant snakehead (toman) and haruan around reservoir weed, hampala barb (sebarau) in river pools, peacock bass on lake edges, barramundi (siakap) at mangrove drains.
- North America — Largemouth and smallmouth bass around grass, docks and laydowns; pike and chain pickerel in weedy shallows.
- Japan & East Asia — Largemouth bass on reservoir flats and lake structure, and snakehead (kamuruchi) in weeded canals.
- Australia, Middle East & Europe — Barramundi and sooty grunter in northern Australian impoundments; pike, zander and perch on European reed lines; tilapia in Middle Eastern dams.
