LURESFACTORY - MARTY VIB 3.5g/4.5g SINKING LURE
Luresfactory Marty Vib 3.5g / 4.5g Sinking Lure
The Marty Vib is a compact lipless vibration bait built around a small body that puts out a strong, tight vibration — the kind of signal that pulls predators in from a distance without the bulk of a full-size crankbait. It is the sinking search bait in a topwater-heavy line-up: where the frogs and buzzbaits work the film, the Marty Vib counts down and reads the whole water column, from a canal bank to the base of a reservoir drop-off. Two sizes cover the job — 3.5cm at 3.5g and 4.5cm at 4.5g — both light enough for ultralight and light spinning tackle. Detailed scale patterns and colours such as Blue Gil, Fire Tiger and Hot Tiger give it a realistic baitfish look in clear water and a loud one in stained water. Sharp, durable treble hooks are fitted for a higher hook-up rate. Made in Thailand.

How To Fish It
- Count the lure down — Cast, then count as it sinks on a slack line. Start winding at five, then ten, then fifteen on later casts until you find the depth holding fish, and repeat that count.
- Steady retrieve to search water — Wind at a constant speed just fast enough to feel the body buzzing in the rod tip. If the vibration stops, you are too slow or have picked up weed.
- Lift and drop on drop-offs — Sweep the rod to 10 o'clock so the lure vibrates upward, then drop the tip and let it flutter back on a semi-slack line. Most bites come on the fall — watch the line for a tick.
- Rip it out of grass — Let it tick the top of submerged weed, then rip it free with a sharp snap. That change in speed and direction triggers following fish.
- Match the colour to the water — Use Blue Gil, Green Strip and Brown in clear reservoirs and slow everything down; save Fire Tiger and Hot Tiger for coloured water and overcast days.
Target Species By Region
- Southeast Asia — Peacock bass, tilapia and hampala barb (sebarau) in clear reservoirs and quarry lakes, snakehead (haruan) off weed edges, small jacks and queenfish around jetty pilings.
- North America — Largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, white bass and yellow perch on light spinning gear in lakes and tailraces.
- Japan & East Asia — Bass in clear-water reservoirs, plus rockfish (mebaru, kasago) and small seabass on light game tackle from harbour walls.
- Australia, Middle East & Europe — Australian bass, bream and estuary perch in clear estuaries; perch, zander and chub in European rivers and canals.
