LURESFACTORY - LITTLE FROG HARD RESIN 3.2cm 5.2g JUMP FROG HARUAN TOPWATER
Luresfactory Little Frog Hard Resin 3.2cm 5.2g Jump Frog Topwater
The Little Frog is the 3.2cm, 5.2g hard resin jump frog in the range — the downsized profile alongside the 4.3cm Common Frog. It is shaped to jump and pop on the surface so fish can locate it from a distance, and an ultra-fine silicone skirt trails behind it to swim through furrowed cover and to act as a deflector off structure. At 5.2g in a 3.2cm body it is dense for its length, so it casts well beyond its size and drops into tight pockets without a heavy splash. The hard resin body holds its shape and its hook position through repeated fish rather than tearing. Reach for it where the water is narrow, or where fish follow a full-size frog and refuse it.
Key Features
- Hard resin jump frog, 3.2cm and 5.2g
- Smallest jump frog profile in the range
- Jumping and popping surface motion that attracts fish from a distance
- Ultra-fine silicone skirt for swimming through furrowed cover
- Skirt acts as a deflector when bouncing off structure
- Dense for its length, so it casts further than its profile suggests
- Sharpened hook point
How To Fish It
- Downsized jump-and-pop — Short downward taps make it hop and spit. Keep them softer and closer together than with a full-size frog, then pause two seconds.
- Tight-pocket work in drains — Its low cast splash lets you drop it into weed holes and against drain walls at short range. Let it sit still for a count of three before the first tap.
- Walk-the-dog frog steps — Rod tip low with a little slack, twitch evenly so it swings side to side along reed edges and weed lanes.
- Match a small food source — When fish are on tadpoles and juvenile frogs, this profile draws strikes a 4cm frog will not.
- Pause a beat before setting — The resin body cannot compress, so striking at the splash pulls it clear. Keep winding through the blow-up, wait for the rod to load, then sweep sideways.
Target Species By Region
- Southeast Asia — Striped snakehead (haruan) in paddy drains and narrow canals; mid-size giant snakehead (toman) in weeded ponds; peacock bass in lily pockets; hampala barb (sebarau) along weed lines.
- North America — Largemouth bass on pressured pond and pad water where a full-size frog gets refused; chain pickerel and bowfin in backwaters; northern snakehead in tidal creeks.
- Japan & East Asia — Smaller snakehead (raigyo) in narrow canals and paddy channels, bass over shallow reservoir weed, and catfish (namazu) at dusk.
- Australia, Middle East & Europe — Saratoga and sooty grunter in weedy creek arms and billabongs; perch and smaller pike over weed in European lakes and canals.
