The Bufo Let's Go V.2 is a compact frog-style surface lure built for anglers who enjoy exciting topwater fishing. It keeps the 4.5cm body of the V.1 but comes in at 8.5g rather than 11.5g, and that three-gram difference changes how it behaves: the V.2 sits higher in the film, starts working at a slower retrieve speed, and hops more freely across matted weed, while the heavier V.1 stays the choice when a long cast into a headwind matters most. The body is solid resin with detailed eyes and contrasting markings, finished in bright colours that give a clear visual target. Flexible silicone skirt strands spread and pulse behind it, adding movement and vibration that imitate small prey on the surface. A size 2/0 hook is fitted, and seven colours are offered in a new numbering block, 21 to 27.

How To Fish It

• Slow steady swim — Wind at a constant, unhurried speed so the body pushes a wake and the skirt trails behind. The lighter V.2 holds its action at speeds where a heavier frog starts to plough.
• Twitch and pause — Two or three short rod-tip twitches, then a two- to three-second stop. The skirt keeps breathing while the lure sits still, and that is when most fish commit.
• Skip across mats — Sharp downward taps hop the frog over duckweed, salvinia and lily pads. At 8.5g it clears the mat with less effort than the V.1 and lands softly in the open holes.
• Work the grass edge — Cast parallel to a weed line and keep the lure within a rod length of the edge for the whole retrieve, instead of pulling it out into open water.
• Pause a beat before setting — With a hard body, striking at the splash pulls the lure clear. Wind through the blow-up, wait for the rod to load with the fish's weight, then sweep sideways.
