What It Solves

• Cushioning a braid setup — Choose SF-1 when a more forgiving leader is useful for casting, striking and fighting fish. Tie it to braid with a slim connection such as an FG knot and adjust drag to the complete system, not the printed leader strength alone.
• Fishing clear or abrasive water — Choose SF-2 when presentation and abrasion resistance matter around rocks, reef, timber or rough mouths. Inspect the final section after every fish or contact with structure.
• Building lure leaders — Use a shorter leader for repeated casting when the joining knot should remain outside the spool, or a longer leader when extra abrasion buffer is required. Confirm that the knot passes through the guides cleanly.
