Recommended Pairing

Use PE0.8–1.5 for light casting and finesse work, PE2.0–2.5 for stronger general-purpose lure or jig setups, and PE3.0 where additional drag and structure margin are needed.

A 100m spool may require backing on deeper reels. Join backing securely, fill under steady tension and leave correct clearance below the spool lip. Add an abrasion leader near the lure or rig.

Spool braid under firm, even tension. Use a braid-compatible knot, tighten it progressively and test the completed leader connection before fishing. Select the final line class for reel capacity, terminal load, working drag, leader strength and cover—not by breaking strain alone.
