The Duel Livebait Vibe Blade is a heavyweight sinking blade bait built around a wire-through body with a willow-leaf blade hung off the tail. On the drop the body vibrates while the blade spins, so the lure puts out two signals at once — a tight pulse and a flash — which is what makes it work on fish holding deep or sitting in current. At 44g it casts a long way into wind and sinks fast, letting shore anglers reach water that normally needs a boat. Duel gives it a working band of 2.0 to 3.0 metres, and it fishes as well vertically beside structure as it does on a cast-and-wind.

How To Fish It

• Lift and fall — Let it hit the bottom, lift the rod smoothly to about 11 o'clock, then follow it back down on a controlled line. The blade spins hardest on the fall and that is where most bites land.
• Slow roll near the bottom — Count it down, then wind just fast enough to feel the body thumping through the blank. Ideal over deep flats and channel edges.
• Vertical work on structure — Drop it beside bridge pylons, jetty legs or a drop-off and short-hop it up through the water column, pausing every few lifts.
• Long-range searching in current — Cast up-current, let it sink on a tight line, then retrieve back with the flow to hold the 2–3 m band across a run.
