DUEL - HARDCORE SHADCRANK 3+ 60F FLOATING 60mm R1186 FISHING LURES
Duel Hardcore Shadcrank 3+ 60F 60mm R1186 Floating Fishing Lures
The Duel Hardcore Shadcrank 3+ is a deep-diving crankbait with a shad body rather than the usual round crank profile. The "3+" is Duel's own depth code and it is metric: it marks the model built to work the three-metre band, one step deeper than the 2+ and shallower than the 4+. The flat-sided shad silhouette gives a tighter, higher-frequency roll than a fat-bodied crank, which is often what clear or pressured water calls for. Duel's Magnetic Weight Transfer System holds an internal weight at the tail through the cast and releases it on splashdown, so a compact 60mm body at 11g still carries distance — on a deep crank, a longer cast means more time at working depth. It floats at rest, so it backs off rock, timber and weed on the pause instead of hanging up, and the reinforced lip takes repeated bottom contact.
Key Features
- Deep-diving floating crankbait, 60mm / 11g
- "3+" depth code — Duel's designation for the three-metre class (metric, not feet)
- Flat-sided shad profile for a tight, high-frequency wobble and roll
- Magnetic Weight Transfer System for casting distance and stable flight
- Floats at rest, so it releases from snags on the pause
- Reinforced lip and body for bottom and structure contact
- 3D holographic eyes and scale texture, pre-rigged with treble hooks and heavy-duty split rings
How To Fish It
- Bottom-contact cranking — Cast long, wind fast to drive the lure down, then settle into a steady grind so it ticks bottom or deflects off rock. Keep winding through the deflection.
- Stop and go — Six to eight turns, then a one-second stop so the floating body rises slightly. This clears weed and triggers fish that have been following.
- Structure edges — Work drop-offs, dam walls, channel edges and submerged timber, angling casts so the lure holds the three-metre band as long as possible.
- Wind-blown banks — Cast into the chop where bait stacks up; the tight shad action holds together where a wider wobble washes out.
Target Species By Region
- Southeast Asia — Peacock bass and hampala barb (sebarau) on reservoir points and dam walls, giant snakehead (toman) off submerged timber, barramundi (siakap) on deeper river-mouth edges.
- North America — Largemouth and smallmouth bass on ledges, humps and riprap; walleye on gravel bars; white bass on open-water schools.
- Japan & East Asia — Black bass in the large lakes and reservoirs, where cranking the three-metre band is a standard summer and autumn pattern.
- Australia, Middle East & Europe — Australian bass, golden perch and Murray cod on impoundment timber; zander, pike and perch on European drop-offs and canal ledges.

Recommended Pairing
- 7'–7'6" medium-heavy cranking rod with a moderate action so fish stay pinned on trebles
- 12–17 lb fluorocarbon — heavier line lifts the lure and costs depth, lighter line lets it run deeper
- A lower-geared baitcaster, around 5.4:1 to 6.4:1, to hold a steady grind under load
- Add a short heavy fluorocarbon trace where toothy species are present
