Duel Hardcore Shad 60mm / 75mm R1382 / R1367 Slow Floating Fishing Lures

The Duel Hardcore Shad is a slow-floating shad crankbait built for working tight to structure without losing lures to it. Slow floating means the body rises only gradually when the retrieve stops, so a pause lets it back away from a snag or hang just above weed while a following fish decides. The lip is formed as an integrated part of the body with a stay, catching water efficiently while shedding resistance, so the lure reaches its band within a couple of turns. Duel's magnetic weight system moves a retained weight ball rearward on the cast, then locks it forward for a stable swimming posture. The 60mm R1382 is a shallow runner working to about 1.5 m; the 75mm R1367 is the deeper model, rated to 3 m with a casting range of 30 m and up.

How To Fish It

Crank and pause — Wind hard for the first turns to drive the lure down, then hold a steady pace with a one to two second stop every few metres. The slow rise on the pause is the main trigger.
Deflect off cover — Run it into timber or a rip-rap edge on purpose. A short pause after the deflection usually draws the strike.
Slow roll over weed — Use the 60mm to hold above submerged weed beds, pausing where the lure would otherwise foul so it lifts clear.
Cold-water grind — In early spring and late autumn, drop the retrieve speed and extend pauses to three or four seconds.

Southeast Asia — Hampala barb (sebarau), peacock bass and giant snakehead (toman) around reservoir timber and rocky points; jungle perch in river systems.
North America — Largemouth and smallmouth bass on rip-rap, points and laydowns, plus crappie, white bass and walleye.
Japan & East Asia — Black bass on lake and reservoir structure, as a standard shad-cranking presentation through spring and autumn.
Australia, Middle East & Europe — Australian bass, golden perch and Murray cod in impoundments; perch, zander, chub and asp in European rivers and gravel pits.
