That flat attitude does two things: the lure reads as a baitfish holding on the surface rather than a plug hanging in the water, and the cup stays in the film so the first jerk makes sound immediately. A double cup mouth controls the output: a soft pull spits and bubbles, a hard pull gives a full pop. The magnetic weight transfer system sends an internal weight to the tail on the cast and returns it on landing, which is how a 70mm 10.5g body reaches 40m. How To Fish It

• Pop and pause — A sharp downward jerk loads the cup; stop for two to four seconds while the feather breathes. Set on weight, not on the splash; fish often miss the first swipe and come back.
• Spit and bubble — Softer, shorter pulls on semi-slack line make it spit and bubble rather than pop. This is the presentation for calm mornings and clear water where a hard pop pushes fish away.
