DEVIL CRAFT - BLOOD THORN - 9+1SUSBB - FULL CARBON BODY - SPINNING REEL
Devil Craft Blood Thorn is a Full carbon body. This spinning-reel series covers general lure and bait work where anglers need straightforward casting, line control and a choice between standard and faster retrieve configurations. The available sizes can be balanced to medium freshwater, estuary and coastal rods without forcing one reel to cover every task. Four live variants progress from a 1000 / 5.4:1 model to high-speed 2000, 3000 and 4000 models at 6.2:1.
Key Features
- Full carbon body construction is stated in the live title.
- The title identifies a 9+1 stainless-bearing system.
- The 1000 model provides a 5.4:1 retrieve.
- The 2000, 3000 and 4000 models are labelled high speed at 6.2:1.
- The size progression supports different rod and line classes.
- Variant SKUs keep each configuration traceable.
How To Use It
- Cast-and-retrieve lures — Fill the spool evenly, close the bail by hand and begin the retrieve after removing slack. Standard ratios favour controlled cranking; high-speed options recover slack faster around current, structure and fast-moving fish.
- Soft-plastic and jig work — Use the rod to impart action and the reel to recover controlled slack. This maintains contact with the lure without turning each lift into an unnecessarily fast pull.
- Bait and float rigs — Select a size with enough capacity for the venue and leave the drag able to release line. Keep swivels and knots outside the line roller and guides during casting.
- Routine care — After saltwater use, mist with fresh water, wipe dry and store with the drag relaxed. Avoid high-pressure rinsing, which can push salt or dirt deeper into the reel.

Recommended Pairing
- Pair smaller models with light or medium-light rods and the larger models with medium or medium-heavy spinning rods, always following the rod ratings.
- Choose mono, fluorocarbon or PE main line that fits the intended capacity and target, then add a leader matched to abrasion and lure size.
- Select standard ratio for measured lure speed and cranking control, or a high-speed live variant when rapid slack pickup is the priority.
Before fishing, confirm that the reel foot seats securely, the spool is filled evenly, the bail closes correctly and the drag releases line smoothly. The practical system limit is set by the weakest line, leader, knot, hook or terminal component, not by reel size alone.
