The DieZel MinnowZ is the bigger, thicker-bodied version of Z-Man's 3" MinnowZ, scaled to 4" for fish that want a full-size baitfish profile. The body is deep and meaty with a moulded scale pattern, narrowing into a thin tail joint carrying a broad paddle — a build that kicks hard at a crawl and keeps working when burned. A moulded-in belly hook slot and a split dorsal fin that doubles as a hook-point pocket let it fish genuinely weedless. This is the classic body to hang off a bladed jig: the bulk loads the blade and the tail tracks straight behind it. Z-Man rates ElaZtech at 10X the durability of ordinary soft plastic, which keeps one bait alive through a session of ripping it out of grass. How To Fish It

• ChatterBait trailer — The signature use. Slide it onto a 1/4–1/2 oz bladed jig, nose tight to the head so the tail tracks straight. Wind steadily, let the rod tip absorb the thump, and deflect the blade off timber and grass tips.
• Swim jig trailer — Rig behind a 1/4–3/8 oz swim jig just under the surface along grass lines and laydowns, killing it wherever the cover changes.
• Straight swimbait on a jig head — On a 4/0 jighead, count down and wind slowly past pilings, drains and drop-offs so the tail keeps thumping.
• Weedless over cover — Rig on a 3/0–5/0 weighted swimbait hook, point seated in the dorsal slot, and swim it over grass, oyster bars and mangrove roots.

Target Species By Region

• Southeast Asia — Hampala barb (sebarau) and giant snakehead (toman) on a bladed jig through reservoir timber, barramundi (siakap) and mangrove jack around jetty pilings, plus queenfish over flats.
• North America — Largemouth and smallmouth bass as a ChatterBait or swim jig trailer, stripers on reservoir flats and tailraces, and inshore redfish, speckled trout, snook and flounder on a 4/0 jighead.
• Japan & East Asia — Seabass (suzuki) from estuary shorelines and harbour walls, largemouth bass (blackbass) in reservoirs, and hirame off sandy beaches.
