SANTEC - TUBE BOM SPRING WITH LEAD SINKER 39083 MATABOM LEAD FISHING ACCESSORIES
Santec Tube Bom Spring with Lead Sinker 39083 Mata Bom Lead
The Santec Fishing Spring with Lead is a weighted bait feeder for freshwater bottom-fishing rigs. It combines a spiral bait-holding spring with an integrated lead core, so one item carries the bait and supplies the casting weight — no separate sinker to rig. Mouldable bait is pressed around and between the coils; the spiral holds the mixture through handling and the cast, and underwater it softens and releases scent and small food particles around the hook. The lead makes the feeder sink fast and sit still on the bottom, and it loads the rod properly so you can reach spots well out from the bank. This is the version to take when the fish are holding beyond easy casting range or when a breeze is pushing your rig off the mark.
Key Features
- Integrated lead weight sinks the rig quickly and keeps it stable
- No separate sinker needed — bait and weight in one piece
- Strong spiral spring holds mouldable bait securely
- Added weight improves casting distance and accuracy
- Two sizes: #3.5CM for lighter rigs, #4.0CM for heavier bait loads
- Corrosion-resistant outer finish, reusable session after session
- Suits dough bait, ground bait and softened pellet mixtures
How To Fish It
- Get the mix right — Add water slowly until the bait holds when squeezed but still crumbles between the fingers. Too wet and it flies off mid-cast; too dry and it never opens up.
- Pack tight for distance — With lead behind it this rig casts hard, so press the bait firmly into the coils and mould the outside smooth. A smooth loaded stroke keeps the ball on; a hard snap strips it.
- Fixed bottom rig — Tie straight to the top loop or run it below a swivel, then set droppers of roughly 3–6 cm so the hooks stay in the bait ball.
- Cast to the same spot — Pick a far-bank marker and put every cast on it. Three or four loaded casts build the swim before the hooks matter.
- Refresh on a clock — Reload every 10–20 minutes while building, then stretch it once fish are feeding.
Target Species By Region
- Southeast Asia — Long-cast mata bom in Malaysian and Indonesian kolam pancing and reservoirs: catfish (keli), carp (ikan kap), patin and tilapia (talapia), plus river-mouth and jetty sessions for threadfin (senangin) and bream.
- North America — Weighted coil-spring rigs for channel, blue and flathead catfish, and carp on big rivers where you must reach the far channel.
- Japan & East Asia — The dango-zuri idea in weighted form for carp (koi), crucian carp (herabuna) and black seabream (chinu) from breakwaters.
- Australia, Middle East & Europe — Effectively a loaded method feeder for European carp and bream; also catfish and tilapia in Gulf ponds and canals.
