Santec Kickers Soft Kicking Lure 9cm Elastic Soft Lure
Kickers is a single-size elastic soft lure sold as a ready-to-fish kit: three 9cm bodies of 8.1 g each, plus one weedless jig head in the same pack. That combination is the point of the lure — the weedless head lets you swim it straight through snags, lily stems and submerged branches where an exposed point would foul on the first cast. The stretchy body material takes repeated strikes and hook-outs, so one body usually survives several fish rather than tearing after one. Nine colours run from dark browns and blacks for stained water through to crystal, white and a green luminous pattern for dirty water and low light.
Key Features
- One size: 9cm, 8.1 g per body
- Three bodies plus one weedless jig head per pack
- Elastic body material that resists tearing on repeated hook-ups
- Weedless head design for fishing through cover without fouling
- Nine colours including a green luminous pattern
- Also rigs on a standard jig head or offset worm hook
How To Fish It
- Slow roll on the supplied head — Cast past the cover, count the lure down and wind at the slowest speed that keeps the lure working. Add no rod action; let the head track it straight through the weed.
- Through timber and lily pads — With the point shielded you can drive the lure into submerged branches, feel the contact, then pause and let it drop beside the wood. Most bites come on that pause.
- Burn and kill — Wind fast for three or four turns, then stop dead and let it sink on a slack line. Good on snakehead and jacks that follow but will not commit.
- Jig trailer — Strip the body off the supplied head and thread it onto a skirted jig or bladed lure to add bulk and slow the fall.
Target Species By Region
- Southeast Asia — Giant snakehead (toman) and haruan over lily and weed beds, peacock bass around flooded timber, barramundi (siakap) and mangrove jack (jenahak) in mangrove creeks.
- North America — Largemouth bass in pads, grass and laydowns; chain pickerel and bowfin in weedy backwaters; redfish over grass flats where a treble would snag.
- Japan & East Asia — Largemouth bass on lake weed edges, plus seabass around harbour rock and structure where a weedless presentation gets closer to cover.
- Australia, Middle East & Europe — Barramundi and sooty grunter in northern snags; Murray cod and Australian bass around timber; pike and perch through European reed edges and lily beds.
