How To Fish It

• Long casts to distant cover — Use the 10g mass to reach far bank grass, mid-lake weed edges and windward shorelines that a lighter frog of this size cannot cover.
• Steady wake retrieve — Wind at a constant slow speed so the body leaves a wake and the skirt trails. Keep the rod tip low and the line tight enough to feel the lure working.
• Twitch and pause — Short rod-tip twitches, then a two- to three-second stop. The skirt keeps moving while the lure sits, and this irregular frog-like cadence draws fish that ignore a steady wind.
• Through light grass — Run it over sparse weed and grass edges where the close-set double hook can travel. On matted cover, hop it across the top and stop in every open hole.
