LURESFACTORY - MF SUSHI 10cm 20.7g HARDBODY LURE TOPWATER
Luresfactory MF Sushi 10cm 20.7g Hardbody Topwater
The MF Sushi 10 is a realistic fish-shaped hard lure made for surface fishing at the larger end of the range. Its 10cm profile throws a long silhouette that predators pick up from a distance, and at 20.7g it is the heaviest lure in the Lures Factory topwater line-up — enough weight to punch into a headwind, reach a bust-up in open water, or fish from a rock ledge where casting distance decides whether you get a shot at all. Worked with rhythmic rod twitches it slides side to side in a classic walk-the-dog action, imitating an injured baitfish across the surface. An internal rattle adds sound, and reinforced through-wire construction runs the length of the body so the hook hangers stay connected under the load of a big fish. Nine detailed scale finishes run from Fire Tiger and Hot Tiger to Chrome and Common Minnow.

How To Fish It
- Walk the dog — Rod tip down with a little slack, twitch the wrist on a steady rhythm and take up line between twitches. Keep the beat even and the lure glides left and right on its own.
- Slow it down for big fish — Widen the glide with harder twitches and a longer pause between. Large toman and barramundi often follow several times before committing, and a wider, slower walk gives them the chance.
- Speed-walk for pelagics — On saltwater flats and rock marks, a fast, tight walk with no pauses imitates a fleeing baitfish and draws chasing queenfish and trevally.
- Work the boil, not the splash — Do not strike at the blow-up. Keep the cadence going, and if the fish misses, carry on walking the lure — a missed fish will usually come back for a second attempt.
- Check the hardware — After a big fish, check split rings and hook points before the next cast. Surface strikes on a 20.7g lure put real load through the terminals.
Target Species By Region
- Southeast Asia — Giant snakehead (toman) on reservoirs and ex-mining lakes, large barramundi (siakap) around jetties and river mouths, giant trevally (GT) and queenfish on shore casts from rock walls and breakwaters.
- North America — Largemouth bass on open-water flats, striped bass and bluefish in the surf and around inlets, and northern pike over shallow bays.
- Japan & East Asia — Seabass (suzuki) on harbour walls and river mouths in the shore-casting style, plus tuna and yellowtail (hamachi) surface feeds within its casting range.
- Australia, Middle East & Europe — Barramundi and mangrove jack in northern estuaries, giant trevally and queenfish on Gulf and Red Sea flats, and pike on large European lakes.
