The MF Little Frog is a miniature frog-style lure for anglers who need a small, easy-to-control presentation in shallow water and vegetation. The 3.2cm body drops into narrow openings, along grass edges and between lily pads, and the detailed frog shape, realistic eyes and natural finish give fish a visible target. Silicone skirt strands spread and move on the retrieve and keep working through pauses, so the lure stays visually alive over a strike zone. The hooks sit close along the body, giving less exposure than a treble-hook lure around light grass — no lure is completely snag-free. The action walks, pops and glides to mimic real frog movement.

It is the smallest and lightest frog here, and the densest for its size: 4.9g inside a 3.2cm body packs more mass into less volume than the 4cm/6.1g Tree Frog Jr. or the 5cm/10.5g I'PSA Frog. It casts better than a 4.9g lure has any right to, but still only reaches short range, and it sits lower in the surface film than the bigger-bodied frogs. Keep it for thin cover, open pockets and clear lanes — pads, reed edges, drain walls — rather than thick matted weed, where a low-riding body this size gets swallowed by the mat. Its real strength is matching small forage when fish follow a full-size frog and refuse it.

How To Fish It

• Downsized jump-and-pop — Short downward taps make it hop and spit. Keep them softer and closer together than with a full-size frog, then pause two seconds.
• Tight-pocket work — Its low cast splash lets you drop it into weed holes and against drain walls at short range. Let it sit for a count of three before the first tap.
• Walk the dog — Rod tip low with a little slack, twitch evenly so it swings side to side along reed edges.
• Match small forage — When fish are on tadpoles, juvenile frogs or fry, this profile draws strikes a 4cm or 5cm frog will not.
• Set late — The hard body cannot compress, so striking at the splash pulls it clear. Wind through the blow-up, wait for the rod to load, then sweep sideways.
