LURESFACTORY - MF BATTLE BUZZ 10.5cm 13.7g BUZZBAIT TOPWATER
Luresfactory MF Battle Buzz 10.5cm 13.7g Buzzbait Topwater
The MF Battle Buzz is a surface buzzbait built to make noise, vibration and visible water movement on the retrieve. The front metal blade rotates as the lure is wound, breaking the surface into a bubble trail, and works against a metal clacker that adds a hard knock on every pass — a sound predators can track in muddy water, in chop and after dark, when a silent lure goes unnoticed. A flexible silicone skirt surrounds the head and hook, opening and pulsing to fill out the profile, and hides the single hook — which is what makes a buzzbait fishable right against the grass where a treble would foul. At 10.5cm and 13.7g on a weighted head it casts a long way and covers water fast: use it to find active fish along a bank, then work the area with a slower lure.

How To Fish It
- Get the blade up fast — Start winding the instant the lure lands, rod tip high and fast for the first few turns. Once the blade is planing, drop the tip and slow to the lowest speed that keeps it turning and clacking.
- First and last light — Dawn and dusk are the prime buzzbait windows, along with overcast days and warm nights. In bright, clear conditions fish usually want something quieter.
- Stop-and-go — Kill the retrieve for a second so the lure drops just under the surface, then wind again to make the blade grab. Followers commit on the restart.
- Along the grass edge — Cast parallel to weed lines, lily edges and flooded timber, keeping the lure within a rod length of cover the whole way. Bumping the blade into a stem causes a stall that often triggers the strike.
- Wait one beat after the boil — Buzzbait strikes are violent and often miss. Do not strike at the splash: keep winding at the same speed, wait for the weight to load the rod, then sweep sideways. If a fish misses, cast straight back to the same spot.
Target Species By Region
- Southeast Asia — Giant snakehead (toman) over reservoir weed and timber, striped snakehead (haruan) in wide canals, peacock bass on shallow flats, hampala barb (sebarau) on river weed lines, barramundi (siakap) at mangrove drain mouths.
- North America — Largemouth and smallmouth bass along grass lines and laydowns at first light; pike in shallow bays; northern snakehead in tidal rivers.
- Japan & East Asia — Bass over shallow reservoir weed at dawn, snakehead (raigyo) on cover edges, catfish (namazu) after dark in canals.
- Australia, Middle East & Europe — Saratoga and barramundi in weedy billabongs and creek arms; pike and perch over shallow European weed beds.
