DUEL - SILVER PROP 60mm 6g F906 FISHING LURES
Duel Silver Prop 60mm 6g F906 Floating Prop Bait Fishing Lures
The Duel Silver Prop 60 is a compact floating topwater lure with a propeller mounted at the tail. The prop turns at the slightest movement of line, so the lure throws a splash, a mechanical clicking sound and a pressure wave just under the surface even when barely retrieved — useful on flat calm mornings when a loud popper puts fish down. The body floats level and holds its posture, so you can leave it sitting for several seconds between inputs and let a cautious fish make up its mind. At 60mm and 6g it is small enough for finesse work but still casts on standard inshore gear, and the ABS body holds up to repeated surface strikes.
Key Features
- Floating topwater prop bait, 60mm and 6g
- Rear-mounted propeller creates splash, sound and sub-surface pressure waves
- Prop turns at very low retrieve speeds and on a slack-line twitch
- Level floating posture holds the lure in position through long pauses
- Fitted with PS #8 treble hooks and EX #2 split rings
- Durable ABS body with a detailed Japanese finish
- Five colour patterns for clear, stained and low-light conditions
How To Fish It
- Slow steady crank — Wind just fast enough to keep the prop turning and leaving a bubble trail. The simplest way to fish it and often the most productive over shallow flats.
- Twitch and long pause — One short twitch to spin the prop, then wait two to four seconds while the lure sits still. Watch the line — many takes come the instant the noise stops.
- Stop and go along cover — Run it parallel to weed edges, mangrove roots, lily fields or a rock wall, pausing every metre or so beside likely holding spots.
- Low-light windows — Fish it in the first and last hour of light, and after dark around lit structure where surface feeders are working bait against the shadow line.
Target Species By Region
- Southeast Asia — Hampala barb (sebarau), peacock bass and giant snakehead (toman) in reservoirs and rivers; small barramundi (siakap) and mangrove jack around mangrove edges and jetty pilings.
- North America — Largemouth and smallmouth bass over shallow cover, plus white bass, crappie and inshore speckled trout on calm mornings.
- Japan & East Asia — Black bass on lake and reservoir shallows, and light game work for seabass (suzuki) and small trevally from harbour walls.
- Australia, Middle East & Europe — Australian bass, estuary perch and bream in the upper reaches; perch, chub and asp in European rivers and canals; small queenfish on Gulf shorelines.
