DUEL - BIG PE BRAID LINE PREMIUM IZANAS PE BRAID LINE MADE IN JAPAN is DUEL’s heavy-duty PE main line for anglers who prioritize abrasion resistance, controlled handling and dependable power around cover. DUEL combines IZANAS™ ultra-high-strength polyethylene fibre with its H.I.P. heat-integration process and a silicone coating to create a compact braid with purposeful firmness and resilience.

What It Solves

Heavy-cover fishing exposes braid to repeated guide friction, vegetation and hard structure. BIG PE is built to resist fuzzing and loss of handling while preserving the low-stretch feedback needed to steer a lure and react quickly to a strike.

The live selection is narrower than the complete historical range. Four Dark Green options and one Blue option are currently encoded, so colour and strength must be selected as a matched Shopify variant.

Recommended Pairing

Pair with a medium-heavy to extra-heavy casting or spinning rod and a reel with a smooth, strong drag. Choose 25–35lb for controlled casting and moderate cover; 40–50lb gives more margin for heavier lures, thicker vegetation or rough structure.

Use a leader where hard cover, teeth or clear water demand it. A compact FG-style connection suits leaders that must pass through guides; a shorter leader connected outside the guides simplifies frequent lure changes.

Spool PE braid under firm, even tension. Use a braid-compatible knot, tighten it progressively and test the completed leader connection before fishing. Choose the final line class for reel capacity, lure load, working drag, leader strength and cover—not by breaking strain alone.
