YOZURI - ULTRA 3D LASER DX M2 SINKING 95mm A1803 SQUID JIG SQUID FISHING
Yozuri Ultra 3D Laser DX 95 mm — A1803, M2 Crown
The Ultra 3D Laser DX is the flash-first model in Yo-Zuri's Ultra squid jig family. Its body carries a patented three-dimensional prism lens that breaks incoming light and throws it back in several directions at once, so a jig sitting almost motionless in a beam of deck light still signals. The hologram sheet is embedded inside the body rather than applied to the outside, which is why the shine survives a night of squid beaks and rock contact instead of peeling off in strips. The six colours are all zebra-glow patterns, pairing reflective flash with a charged luminous stripe. Yo-Zuri publishes it as a slow-floating body that keeps a horizontal posture even in weak current.
Key Features
- Single size here: A1803, S class, 95 mm, listed weight 10.6 g, M2 crown
- Patented 3D prism lens body that scatters light across several angles

- Slow-floating design that holds a level posture in weak current
- M2 rounded two-stage crown in stainless steel
How To Fish It
- Let it hang — This model earns its keep when it is doing almost nothing. Set it at the depth marking squid, take up the slack until the branch line is just straight, and leave it there for fifteen or twenty seconds. The prism keeps flashing on the smallest rocking motion.
- Small lifts only — Raise the rod tip thirty or forty centimetres, no more, then let it settle and hold again. Big sweeps push a slow-floating body up out of the strike zone and take time to get back.
- Put it on the top branch — On a two- or three-jig dropper, hang this above the heavier jigs. It sits highest in the column and picks off squid up in the light while the lower jigs work deeper.
- Charge, then present — Twenty to thirty seconds under a deck light or UV torch loads the zebra stripe; the prism does the rest without charging. Refresh whenever the glow fades.
- Where it sits in the Ultra range — Along with the Ultra 3D Cloth, this is the highest-holding model of the seven. The 5 g Ultra Bait drifts down slowly, the Ultra Cloth and Crystal Ultra bodies sit in the middle band, and the Ultra DX is the one built to reach depth and hold in current.
Target Species By Region
- Southeast Asia — Sotong torak and sotong katak on candat sotong trips off Terengganu, Johor and the Indonesian islands, hung in the upper part of the lit column where squid rise to the boat lights.
- North America — Market squid off Pacific piers, breakwalls and lit moorings, where the flash carries in dock light.
- Japan & East Asia — Kensaki-ika and yariika on boat sutte, ikametal and omorig rigs, typically as the upper jig on the branch; also used in Korea and Taiwan.
- Australia, Middle East & Europe — Southern calamari and arrow squid from deep jetties and boats in South Australia and Tasmania; European squid and cuttlefish on lit Mediterranean marks.
