The Yo-Zuri Snap Beans is a micro crankbait for ultralight and bait finesse fishing. At 25 mm and 2 g it is barely bigger than a fingernail, but the moulded body carries enough mass to cast on 2–4 lb line and to sink at a controlled rate so you can count it down over a specific depth. The action is a tight, high-frequency wiggle rather than a wide wobble, which is what small stream and pond predators expect from fry and juvenile shrimp. Oversized 3D eyes give the tiny profile a clear trigger point. Supplied in six colours: CF, GBL, HT, P, PC and SBL.

How To Fish It

Countdown and slow wind — Cast, count the lure down one to four seconds depending on depth, then wind slowly and steadily. The tight wiggle starts almost immediately, so it stays working even at a crawl.
Stop and go — Wind three or four turns, stop and let the lure sink on a semi-slack line, then start again. Bites usually come as it drops.
Upstream in small streams — Cast up and across, then retrieve just faster than the current so the lure holds its wobble while drifting back past undercut banks and rock pockets.
Under jetty and harbour lights — Fish it slowly through the shadow line at night where small predators pick off fry; keep the rod low and the retrieve constant.
