Bossna Rolling Swivel With Quick Line Connector 7526 Black Nickel

The Bossna 7526 is the odd one out in this family: instead of a snap it carries an open quick-line connector. You tie one loop in the leader, drop that loop over the connector, then slide the protective sleeve down to trap it. After that, whole rigs come on and off without cutting or retying the main line — the fastest way to switch between a paternoster, a running-sinker rig and a trolling leader. The rolling swivel above it keeps twist from reaching the reel.

Which Connection Mechanism

• Quick line connector (7526, this model) — the convenience choice, and the only one that swaps a whole rig rather than a lure. The trade: the loop knot and the sleeve set the limit, and the connector is open underneath. Keep it for trolling, bottom and bait work where load is steady, not for dragging lures through structure.
• C lock (7521) — tag wire captured in a formed C: the most positive lock here.
• New strong snap (7523) — the reinforced pattern, and the only one running to #3/0.
• V snap (7518) — load tends to close the V rather than open it: slim and quick, no swivel attached.
• Danish snap (7510) — open-hook, fastest one-handed, and the easiest to lever open against timber.
• Plain rolling swivel (7516) — no snap; retie every change, but nothing can spring open.
• Picking one — toman and mangrove roots: 7521 or 7523, not this. Bait fishing where you carry pre-made rigs: this 7526.

How To Rig It

• Main line to swivel — Palomar from braid to the top eye, improved clinch on mono or fluorocarbon. Wet before seating.
• Making the loop — Finish each rig with a small, tight loop — double overhand or perfection loop. An oversized loop can slip out from under the sleeve.
• Seating the sleeve — Push the sleeve fully down and check it by hand before every drop. This is the part that fails if left half-seated.
• The weakest link — Here the loop knot is usually the limit, not the wire. Tie it in leader material at or above your main line class.
• After saltwater — Rinse in fresh water and dry. Grit under the sleeve stops it sliding home.
