The Bossna 7510 pairs a rolling swivel with an integrated Danish snap, so one component both sheds line twist and lets you change lures without cutting the leader. The rolling body turns through 360° under load, keeping twist away from the reel and letting the lure work freely. The Danish snap is the open-hook pattern — the fastest in this family to open and close with wet hands. A dark black-nickel finish keeps reflection low and protects the wire.

Which Connection Mechanism

• Danish snap (7510, this model) — open-hook snap, quickest here to work one-handed. Because the hook end is open it is also the easiest to lever open against timber, so keep it on lighter lures and open water.
• V snap (7518) — the wire tucks into a V, so load tends to close it rather than open it: more secure, still fast.
• C lock (7521) — the tag wire sits captured in a formed C and must be unhooked deliberately. Most positive lock.
• New strong snap (7523) — the reinforced pattern, and the only one running from #10 up to #3/0.
• Quick line connector (7526) — no snap, no knot: a leader loop drops over an open connector under a sliding sleeve.
• Plain rolling swivel (7516) — no snap; retie every change, but nothing can spring open.
• Picking one — toman and mangrove timber: C lock or new strong snap, not this. Frequent lure swaps off rocks, jetties and open banks: this 7510.

How To Rig It

• Main line to leader — Palomar from braid to the swivel eye, or improved clinch on mono and fluorocarbon. Wet the knot before seating it.
• Lure on the snap — Clip to the split ring, not the bare wire eye, and check the hook has seated fully closed after every change.
• Matching size to line — Bigger number means smaller: #8 lightest, #1/0 heaviest. Match line class and lure weight, not the fish you hope for.
• The weakest link — The open hook is usually the first thing to fail. Around timber, step up a size or move to the C lock.
• After saltwater — Rinse in fresh water and dry. Replace any unit whose swivel binds or whose snap has opened out.
