That mass is the whole point: it casts into headwinds and across open reservoir arms that lighter frogs cannot reach, and it sits low enough in the surface film to push a real wake on a slow wind rather than skating over the top. The compact frog-inspired body is built for both swimming and jumping action, with flexible skirt strands that keep moving through a pause and a strong double-hook layout for fish that hit a surface bait hard. Each lure is hand finished in bright colours across a seven-pattern run. How To Fish It

• Long casts on open water — Use the weight to reach mid-lake weed edges, far banks and windward shorelines, then work it the whole way back. This is what it does that the lighter frogs in the range cannot.
• Slow swimming retrieve — Wind steadily and slowly so the body swims and leaves a wake. The extra mass keeps it tracking at speeds where a light frog would lose its action.
• Twitch and pause — Short twitches followed by a two- to three-second stop. The skirt strands keep working while the lure is still, and that pause draws the strike.
• Jumping cadence over cover — Sharper downward taps hop it across matted weed and lily pads and from pocket to pocket.
• Pause a beat before setting — With a heavy hard body, striking at the splash pulls it clear. Keep winding through the blow-up, wait for the rod to load with the fish's weight, then sweep sideways.
