DUEL - HARDCORE VIBE 70mm F970 SINKING FISHING LURES
Duel Hardcore Vibe 70mm F970 Sinking Fishing Lures
The Duel Hardcore Vibe is a lipless sinking vibration bait built to be cast a long way and worked fast. At 70mm and 18g the body is dense for its length, so it drops quickly, holds a horizontal posture on the fall and reaches the strike zone without a long wait. With no lip to catch air in flight, the profile keeps casts flat and accurate into wind, which matters when you are covering open water from a bank, a breakwater or a drifting boat. On the retrieve it produces a tight, high-frequency vibration you can feel through the blank, backed by internal rattle chambers that give predators an acoustic target in murky or deep water. It is a feel-based lure, and it suits reaction fishing when fish are holding deep. F970 is a discontinued Duel model number, so the colours listed here are what remains available.
Key Features
- Lipless sinking vibration bait, 70mm / 18g
- Fast, horizontal sink for quick depth control by countdown
- Tight, high-frequency vibration that transmits clearly through the rod
- Internal rattle chambers for acoustic attraction in stained or deep water
- Aerodynamic body for long, accurate casts in wind
- Reinforced body, split rings and treble hooks for fresh and salt water
- UV-reactive, holographic and natural baitfish finishes
How To Fish It
- Countdown and steady wind — Cast, count the lure down in one-second steps, then wind at a medium-fast pace. Repeat with a longer count each cast until you find the holding depth.
- Lift and drop — Sweep the rod up so the lure vibrates hard, then drop the tip and let it flutter back on a controlled line. Most bites land on the fall, so stay in contact.
- Vertical jigging — Over deep structure or from a boat, drop it to the bottom and work it in short vertical lifts of half a metre with a pause at the top.
- Burn and kill — Wind fast over weed tops or reef, then stop dead for a second so the lure drops. The change of pace triggers followers.
Target Species By Region
- Southeast Asia — Hampala barb (sebarau), peacock bass and giant snakehead (toman) in reservoirs; barramundi (siakap), queenfish and small trevally around rock walls, river mouths and jetties.
- North America — Largemouth and smallmouth bass over grass flats and ledges, white and striped bass on open-water schools, redfish and speckled trout inshore.
- Japan & East Asia — Black bass in the big lakes, seabass (suzuki) from breakwaters, plus small trevally and tachiuo on light shore casting tackle.
- Australia, Middle East & Europe — Australian bass, golden perch and estuary barramundi; queenfish along Gulf breakwaters; pike, perch and zander on European drop-offs.
