Recommended Pairing
Use PE1.5–2.5 for lighter to medium offshore jigging where reduced water resistance matters, PE3–4 for stronger general jigging, and PE5–6 with heavy rods, larger reels and terminal systems capable of high drag.
Use the colour sequence as a line-out reference while allowing for current and line angle. Add a leader long enough for reef, hull or fish contact, and inspect the working section after every hard snag.
Spool PE braid under firm, even tension. Use a braid-compatible leader knot, tighten it progressively and test the complete connection before fishing. Select line class around reel capacity, lure load, working drag, leader and cover.
