How To Rig It

• Leader to jig connection — Tie the leader directly to the GP Ring, then join the ring to the jig with a split ring such as the Decoy R-5 Heavy Class or R-11 EX. The solid ring carries the knot; the split ring takes the rotation.
• Assist hook building — Pass the assist cord through the ring, whip and glue the loop, then finish the base with heat shrink tube. The seamless ring means the cord cannot work into a weld gap.
• Popper and stickbait rigs — Use it as the fixed point between leader and split ring on heavy casting lures where a snap would be the weak link.
