Bossna Rolling Swivel with Quick Snap 7515 Black
The Bossna 7515 pairs a free-rotating rolling swivel with a quick snap — the fastest mechanism to open and close in this family. The barrel keeps turning under load, so twist from a spinning blade or a rolling minnow is shed at the connector instead of travelling up the line, and the snap lets you change lures without retying. Black nickel finish, six sizes from #6 to #1.
Key Features
- 360° rolling swivel action that reduces line twist, tangling and unwanted rig movement
- Integrated quick snap — the fastest lure and rig changes in the range
- Black nickel finish, low glare with a durable coated surface
- Suits pencils, minnows, spoons, jigs, frogs, floats and bottom rigs, fresh or salt
- Heaviest size listed up to 66 kg / 145 lb
Which Connection Mechanism
- Quick snap (7515, this model) — the speed end. Open and shut one-handed in a second, which is what you want when you are cycling through lures to find the one that works. The trade is real: a snap that opens easily is also the easiest to lever open against timber.
- "B" snap (7517) — almost as quick, but the lowest limit here.
- Italian snap (7513) — long, narrow opening; the slimmest on a lure eye.
- HD jig snap (7512) — the strongest opening here, sized for metal jigs.
- Safety snap (7514) — safety-pin style; a retaining bend means two movements to release.
- Coastlock (7511) — the security end, and the most positive lock here.
- Picking one — this 7515 is for open water and constant lure changes: shore casting, jetty work, reservoir edges. For frogs at giant snakehead (toman) or lures in mangrove roots, move to the 7514 or 7511.
How To Rig It
- Main line to leader — Palomar from braid to the swivel eye, improved clinch on mono or fluorocarbon; wet before seating.
- Snap to lure — Clip to the split ring, not the bare wire eye, and check the snap has closed fully home after every change.
- Matching size to line — Bigger number means smaller: #6 lightest, #1 heaviest. Match line class and lure weight, not the fish you hope for.
- The weakest link — Undersized, this snap fails before the leader does, usually at the strike. Step the snap up before the leader.
- After saltwater — Rinse in fresh water and dry; replace any unit whose swivel binds or no longer closes flush.
