What It Solves

Light lures lose distance and control when the main line is bulky, springy or slow to leave the spool. Casting Ultra provides the direct behaviour of braid for more efficient casting and clearer feedback, especially when small changes in slack or tension indicate a take.

Recommended Pairing

Use 4–6lb on ultralight rods with very light drag, 8–12lb for broader light spinning applications, and 15lb when extra cover or lure-weight margin is needed. Avoid setting drag near the printed maximum.

Pair with a slim mono or fluorocarbon leader matched to lure size and cover. On micro guides, choose a compact knot and trim tags carefully to retain smooth casting.

Spool braid under firm, even tension and use backing if needed to prevent arbor slip. Wet and tighten a braid-compatible leader knot progressively, trim it cleanly and test the complete connection before fishing.
